Taking pictures should be fun…
I don’t want to take photographs of your children, I want to take pictures of your kiddos.
Each kid is unique and beautiful, so why should they get their pictures taken like everyone else? The Artistic Hippie creates a fun, playful atmosphere in the beauty of our natural surroundings to capture completely organic smiles, giggles, smirks and belly laughs. We don’t say “cheese” but, we do bring toys, tell jokes, blow bubbles and play with sidewalk chalk. Each kid gets to lead the way on our imaginary adventure until suddenly, instead of “taking pictures,” we are just making new friends. These precious soap bubbles of your kids personality are what The Artistic Hippie turns into what we call Playtime Portraits.
The Artistic Hippie specializes in young children but can also provide senior and family portraits as requested. Pricing for these packages are subject to change and are variable. Please call for further information.
When You Schedule Your Session
When you call to schedule your session, the Artistic Hippie will work around your availability to choose the perfect date and time. We are open to location suggestions, or, we are happy to provide a list to choose from. All sessions are weather permitting and subject to being rescheduled at the discretion of the owner.
The Day of Your Session
We bring plenty of toys to share, including bubbles, sidewalk chalk, small instruments, hats, sunglasses, bouncy balls and more! We also love it when you bring some of YOUR favorite toys to share as well as at least one alternate outfit. The typical session lasts anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours and is dependent upon your kiddos level of engagement. Length of session does not effect pricing, nor does the need to reschedule due to weather or an unhappy kid.
The Total Package.
In the week after your session, we process all of the images taken (usually between 300 and 3000) and choose those we feel best reflect the uniqueness and joy of your session. All images will be provided to you on a USB flash drive along with a “release of copyright” allowing you to print any image as many times as you choose. While all sales are final, we will always work with you to provide the best experience possible.
