What determines the cost of my session?

The cost of the session is based upon several factors including number in your party, location, and time of year. All prices, however, are final once agreed upon by both parties and a contact of service is issued before the session begins. All transactions are final and non-refundable, but we pride ourselves on being flexible and working with you to achieve the look you want. Most sessions start around $150, but this is only an average estimate and does not determine the final cost of your session.

How do I schedule a session?

There are multiple “contact us” buttons throughout the website or you are welcome to text or email us on your own. We also have a Facebook page (@TheArtisticHippie) and an Instagram page (@artistichippiephotography) where you can message us for more information. (There are also links to those pages on this page at the bottom in the dark colored section.) Once your inquiry is received, you will hear from us usually no later than the next business day. When you call, please have in mind how many are in your party, the ages of all subjects, if you are looking for anything special, a location, and several dates and times that will work best for your schedule. a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space and will be applied toward the final cost of the session.

What’s included?

The Artistic Hippie will come to you, set up, take the pictures and clean up any disturbed areas when the session is complete. All images are processed in the following week and those pictures we feel best capture the uniqueness and amazing qualities of your kid are chosen for you. All finalized images are given to you on a USB flash drive for you to keep, along with an electronic copy of a “copyright release’ (just incase!). The amount of images can range anywhere from 10 - 200 images, and is completely dependent upon the kids in the session. We do not force kids to cooperate with us in any way and understand that sometimes they just might not want their picture taken. Once the pictures are in your possession, you are welcome to use the pictures when and where you see fit. Although we do not print any photos, we do create a personalized Spark page for you to share with friends and family.

The small print…

All original images remain the property of The Artistic Hippie Photography Studio and may be used for the purposes of advertisement on this or other websites; This includes social media platforms. In the event of poor weather, your session will be rescheduled in its entirety (even if we started before the weather turned sour) to ensure you get what you are looking for. We also understand that kiddos aren’t always in a playtime mood, so if the session needs to be rescheduled due to an unhappy camper, we are happy to do so. All sessions will take place at the discretion of the owner, and may be rescheduled for any reason at any time. The Artistic Hippie Photography studio is not responsible for any allergies or allergic reactions to the environment and it is the responsibility of the guardian of the child to inform us of any potential issues.
