In summer, or even in December after the twinkle lights have been added, this is a can’t miss spot for great pictures!
Veterans’ Acers, Crystal Lake
From a splash pad to walking trails around a large pond, this place has it all! Located not far from downtown Crystal Lake, Veterans’ Acers Park offers beautiful vistas, colorful flowers and a good mix of sun and shade. One of the top photography destinations in the area!
Lake Geneva, WI
Just down the road from Woodstock, Lake Geneva has a little something for everyone! Beaches, shops, parks and more are easy to find once you drive into this magical lake side town. Golden hour photos are especially beautiful here in the summer!

At The Artistic Hippie, our favorite place to take pictures of your kids is at your house! Everything they need is already there and they are familiar with the surroundings, both great benefits when working with littles! Sometimes the best location is literally in your own backyard.
